Mass Labor Day Demonstrations Lock Down Downtown Surabaya
Major worker organizations staged a large-scale May Day protest outside the East Java Governor's Office (Grahadi Building) in Surabaya, Indonesia. The demonstrations resulted in significant road closures and heavily enhanced security/police presences in the downtown area.
