South African President Cyril Ramaphosa met with AU Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf in Pretoria to coordinate urgent diplomatic interventions. The talks focused on securing sustainable peace agreements and immediate ceasefires for the M23 Rebellion in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the civil war in Sudan.
