IDF Issues Mass Evacuation Orders for 16 Southern Lebanese Towns
On April 28, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued urgent evacuation orders for residents of 16 towns and villages in southern Lebanon, citing imminent military operations against Hezbollah infrastructure. The order follows a series of ceasefire violations, including a deadly drone attack on Israeli troops. This directive signals a widening of the conflict zone and has prompted thousands of civilians to flee further north towards the Litani River.
