Ukrainian Drone Strike Ignites Fire at Strategic Tuapse Oil Refinery
Ukrainian long-range drones targeted Russia's strategic Tuapse oil refinery on the Black Sea coast overnight on April 28, 2026. The strike, the third hit on the Rosneft-owned facility in under two weeks, ignited a major fire and forced the deployment of over 120 emergency responders. While no casualties were reported, the attack caused significant environmental damage and led to temporary flight restrictions at airports in Krasnodar and Sochi as debris fell across the region.
