According to OCHA's regional update, intensified violence by non-state armed groups in the Tibú municipality of Colombia's Catatumbo sub-region has rapidly deteriorated humanitarian conditions. Escalating clashes, drone attacks, and persistent threats against civilians have directly driven the new displacement of an estimated 1,044 people. Many of these displaced civilians are currently sheltering in overcrowded or improvised host arrangements with severely limited resources [76].
