Russian Drone Attacks on Odesa Residential Buildings Kill Two
On April 24, 2026, Russian forces launched a series of drone strikes targeting the southern Ukrainian port city of Odesa. Two civilians, a married couple aged 75, were killed when their apartment block was struck. At least 17 other people were injured, and several residential buildings sustained significant damage. This attack occurred despite simultaneous reports of a prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kyiv involving 193 personnel from each side earlier in the day.
