Hezbollah Launches Coordinated Rocket Barrage Against 13 Northern Israeli Towns

Hezbollah militants fired simultaneous rocket salvos at 13 northern Israeli towns, including Kiryat Shmona and Metula, on Tuesday evening. The barrage was timed to coincide with the opening of diplomatic talks between Israel and Lebanon in Washington. Although Israeli air defenses intercepted most of the projectiles, a residential building in Nahariya was struck, resulting in at least one injury. The Israeli military had previously warned of an expected increase in hostilities during the ongoing high-level diplomatic process.
