SAF Retake Al-Tukma and Reopen Dalang-Habila Road

On April 6, 2026, the SAF successfully retook Al-Tukma from joint RSF and SPLM-N (al-Hilu) forces in South Kordofan. Wikipedia and local reports indicate that the intense ground battle to reopen the strategic road led to the displacement of 4,000 civilians who were trapped in the crossfire. Most displaced individuals moved toward Dalang city as the SAF established new defensive perimeters along the recently captured transit routes.
