IDF Evacuation Orders for Southern Beirut Suburbs
Following intensified rocket fire, the Israeli military issued an immediate evacuation notice for several districts in Beirut's southern suburbs, including Chiyah and Haret Hreik, on March 31, 2026. Approximately 40,000 residents fled the area as IDF warplanes targeted what they identified as Hezbollah intelligence facilities.
