Taliban Operations in Andarab District

Taliban security forces conducted a 'clearing operation' against suspected National Resistance Front (NRF) elements in the Andarab district of Baghlan on March 23. TOLOnews reported that the operation involved door-to-door searches and localized skirmishes, prompting 3,200 civilians to flee to neighboring Panjshir. Residents reported that the aggressive nature of the searches and the risk of being caught in crossfire led to the sudden exodus, with many families leaving behind livestock and essential supplies.
