IDF Evacuation Orders for Central Gaza Displaces Thousands
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued new evacuation orders for neighborhoods in eastern Deir al-Balah and northern parts of Maghazi camp. According to UNRWA reports, an estimated 42,000 residents and internally displaced persons fled toward the 'humanitarian zone' in Al-Mawasi. The movement was triggered by leaflets warning of imminent operations against militant infrastructure. Conditions in the receiving areas remain dire, with severe shortages of water and temporary shelter for the newly arrived families.
