Mass Labor Protests Paralyze Central Seoul
Over 75,000 members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) took to the streets of Seoul to protest against proposed labor market flexibilization and the rising cost of living. The protest escalated into minor clashes with riot police near the Presidential Office in Yongsan, leading to dozens of arrests and several injuries among protesters.
