Drone Strike on Kuwait International Airport Damages Radar Systems
Kuwait's Civil Aviation Authority reported a drone attack on Kuwait International Airport on March 28, 2026, which caused significant damage to the facility's radar and navigation systems. While no casualties were reported, the attack disrupted air traffic and added to regional instability. The strike is attributed to the widening conflict between Iranian-backed groups and the U.S.-aligned coalition in the Gulf, marking a rare direct hit on Kuwaiti civil infrastructure.
