Russia-Ukraine Prisoner Exchange Continues with 300 Soldiers Released

On March 6, 2026, Ukraine and Russia exchanged 300 service personnel each, marking the second day of a two-day prisoner swap. Some of those released had been held since 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the released soldiers had defended various sectors, including Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mariupol.
